Half-stories is a collection of shapes from other shapes, like non-shadows. The exhibition is an experiment in gently unsettling the hierarchy of holding rather than relying on gravity. Can holding in different directions create a moment that ripples and travels far into memory of the unknown. Used materials and forms generate new forms; molds, walls and supports become integral to the sculptures and to each other. We are offered paths we can just as easily abandon, watching shadows turn we will have gone someplace.
