Lavender Graduation and Pride Month Brunch honors the achievements, resilience, and brilliance of our LGBTQIA+ graduates as they transition to four‑year colleges, professional pathways, and the next chapters of their lives. Rooted in affirmation, visibility, and community, this celebration recognizes not only academic accomplishment, but the courage and care it takes to persist and thrive. Join us on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Richard Harris Terrace for a joyful ceremony featuring community reflection. Keynote address by NYC Council Member Tiffany Cabán and a live performance by Detox Busto‑AE. Sponsored by the Center for Belonging and Inclusion and campus Pride partners, Lavender Graduation is a moment to be seen, celebrated, and honored—together. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend. CCT: Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) credit approved. If you have any questions, please contact the LGBTQIA+ Resource Center at safezone@bmcc.cuny.edu.
