Patched Places explores home as something reconstructed through memory. Across a range of works, fragments are patched, repaired, and reassembled into soft, shifting structures that hold traces of place. Textile becomes both material and method, carrying gestures of making, mending, and remembering. Works inspired by the ocean introduce rhythm and fluidity, while pieces developed through Kurume Kasuri extend this dialogue across geographies. Together, the works consider how memory is held, altered, and pieced together over time, forming an evolving sense of home.
