Loudoun Wine Awards

The Loudoun Wine Awards Gala is the premier wine event of the fall, showcasing the very best of DC’s Wine Country and celebrating excellence in viticulture and winemaking across Loudoun County. Presented by the Loudoun Wineries & Winegrowers Association, the program begins with a grand tasting of the medal-winning wines from the annual competition - judged by expert sommeliers, wine directors, and critics - to highlight the breadth and quality of the region’s producers. Held in October at the elegant Lansdowne Resort & Spa in Leesburg, the evening transitions to a festive awards reception and gourmet seated dinner where the industry’s top honors are announced. This gala is both a social highlight of the Loudoun wine calendar and a heartfelt toast to local producers, offering guests the rare opportunity to meet the people behind the wines. Whether you’re passionate about Virginia wine or simply enjoy a refined evening celebrating quality wines and community, the Loudoun Wine Awards Gala blends education, excellence, and hospitality in an unforgettable experience celebrating Virginia wine month.
