An Evening with Carlos Miguel Prieto

An Evening with Carlos Miguel Prieto A Documentary Premier & Fundraiser Presented by Ana & Juan Gershanik and Nancy & Stephen Hales. For17 years, Carlos Miguel Prieto helped shape the sound of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. Now, for the first time since his departure, he's coming home — and we're celebrating with an evening as warm and unforgettable as his tenure here. Join us Tuesday, October 20, 2026, 6:30–9:00 PM at the New Orleans Jazz and Blues Market for cocktails, a live conversation, and the premiere screening of a new documentary on Carlos Miguel Prieto produced by WLAE/PBS. Then catch him back on the podium just two days later, October 22, when he returns to conduct the LPO in Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5. Your ticket to this event supports the LPO's artistic initiatives and helps bring exceptional music to our community. Seating is limited.
