Calabash & Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains opens the show @ 7pm! The highly distinctive, adventurous sound of Moving Mountains is characterized by the band members’ combined influences, reflecting not only elements of roots music like blues, Americana, world music, and reggae, but also their love of prog, fusion, pop, and abstract improvisation. The band easily moves between their carefully crafted and arranged original songs into extended improvisation and longer compositions. Moving Mountains released their first album ‘This Quiet World’ in November of 2021. Followed by Calabash… Calabash is a four-piece band from Rochester, NY. Weaving between sentiments of funk, rock, and beyond, the quartet achieves a unique sound that, at once, feels classic and fresh.
