Climate Week Evening Celebration with the NYC premiere of “Songs of the Earth”

Join Stony Brook University to celebrate the end of Climate Week 2026 with a special event at LMCC’s Arts Center at Governors Island! Free and Open to All Ages | September 25, 6:30pm- 9:00pm | RSVP The evening begins with a roundtable discussion where artists and academics will share how their work is informed by and responds to climate change. Participants will include Ann Kurth, President of the New York Academy of Medicine and others. Following the discussion and audience conversation, the evening will continue with a musical quartet performance of “Songs of the Earth” led by Eugene Drucker. The evening ends with a light reception including remarks from David Wrobe, Dean of SBU’s College of Arts and Sciences and LMCC’s CEO & Artistic Director.
