Now’s the Time is a high-energy group playing primarily hard bop jazz, with a complementary mix of blues and swing. With a lively horn section of trumpet, alto sax, and clarinet, and rhythm players on upright bass, keyboard, and drums, Now’s the Time has performed together for fifteen years, celebrating enduring rhythms and melodies of great jazz composers like Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, and many others.
