About this event

On Daisy

One of 1,009 upcoming events at Luthier's Co-Op, and 2,420 across the Pioneer Valley.

From Luthier's Co-Op

Performing as Americana Soul, Steven Harz writes and performs songs that live somewhere between roots country, indie folk, rock, and the raw storytelling tradition of the great American singer-songwriters. His music is reflective without being precious, melodic without losing its edge, and deeply rooted in the idea that it’s never too late to start something new. His influences stretch from Townes Van Zandt, Willie Nelson, Bob Seger, and Lowell George to contemporary artists including Phoebe Bridgers and Ethel Cain. That unlikely mix of old-school storytelling and modern vulnerability gives Harz’s music its own distinctive character. His songs explore love, loss, aging, memory, regret, resilience, and the strange beauty of simply getting through life. There is often a poet’s eye behind the lyrics—a willingness to sit with a moment, turn it over, and find the line that says what most people have trouble saying.
