About this event
One of 6 upcoming events at Lyman Allyn Art Museum.
Celebrate the opening of Lydia Viscardi – Time Takes Time with an evening reception at the Museum. Time Takes Time combines painting, collage, drawing, and assemblage, using printed matter, vintage hand-embellished textiles, fabric, and found objects. These materials form the supports and components of Lydia's two-dimensional work and wall-based sculpture. Colorful imagery, layered compositions and contradictory elements reveal a subtle humor and subversive undercurrent, giving the work an enigmatic yet playful tone. Dates: Friday, October 30 Cost: Members free / Non-Members $10 RSVP to 860.443.2545 ext. 2129 or email us. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
