Godwin is a retired Licensed Professional Counselor who lives in Simpsonville, SC with her partner of 36 years and their 2 beagles, one cat and a horse. She celebrates 41 years in recovery from alcoholism entering Alcoholics Anonymous in 1985. Prior to AA, Bobbie worked as an account executive for a local Greenville, SC firm. She became state certified as an addiction’s counselor in 1995, obtained her Masters in Counseling in 1997, and licensure as professional counselor in 2000. Bobbie’s passion is her 12-step model of living and, most of all her faith in a loving all powerful Creator God. She believes that love is the glue that weaves the strand of life and that our job here is to love–love the mystery, love the beauty, love God, love His creation and creatures, and, yes, love one another.
