ABOUT THE BOOK: A horticultural drama about how two young children find and save a stressed sunflower seedling. It is through their careful handling of this seedling that allows the seedling to grow and thrive against various problems. It also shows how Sunny led to community building in the town where the seedling was growing. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Grew up on a small family farm in western MO. Graduated University of Missouri with a BS in Agriculture. Worked for Ball Horticultural Company in West Chicago, IL for over 30 years. Owned and operated an Organic based lawn care company in Western DuPage County, IL. Have a certificate in Home Horticulture and Landscape Design. Master Gardener Certificate from Clemson University in SC.
