Gallery Talk with John Cleaveland

In celebration of our 50th anniversary, the “experience and intersection,” exhibition features the work of John Cleaveland and the late Richard Olsen. The exhibition explores the enduring artistic relationship between Olsen, a longtime University of Georgia professor and influential mentor, and Cleaveland, one of his former students. Join us Friday, September 11, at 6 p.m. for a Q&A-style gallery talk with John Cleaveland, offering an engaging conversation about his work, artistic journey, and the lasting impact of Olsen’s mentorship. This event is free and all are welcome! Thank you to the generous support of the Georgia Council for the Arts, the Cox Family Fun, and the Katherine John Murphy Foundation. This exhibition has been thoughtfully curated by Mitzi Carr, John Cleaveland, Kamden Ecker and Andy Hayes, and will be on display until October 31, 2026.
