Friday, September 11, 2026 3pm-4:30pm In this workshop we’re making cheese! We’ll be talking through the science behind cheesemaking and the steps to make it happen. Then we’ll get hands on and make a batch from scratch. The beauty of mozzarella is that it’s ready to eat right away, no aging! You’ll leave with a ball of cheese, but chances are good you won’t be able to stop yourself from eating it before you get home, it’s just that yummy. Julia Walters is the owner of Snapdragon Homestead in North Yarmouth which offers a variety of homesteading classes and homemade products. She has had a love and appreciation of nature her entire life and aims to help people live a more natural and sustainable lifestyle. Level – Beginner: No experience needed.
