Saturday, October 10, 2026 1pm-2pm This class is designed to up your gardening game by teaching you to harvest your own seeds for the next year’s planting. Seed saving is a great way to save money and it’s important work for maintaining biological diversity, plus it’s fun to share with your friends! We’ll talk about what varieties can be saved (and what can’t), the logistics of saving different kinds of crops, and how to process and store your seeds once you harvest them. We’ll do some hands on processing so you have some seeds to take home! Julia Walters is the owner of Snapdragon Homestead in North Yarmouth which offers a variety of homesteading classes and homemade products. She has had a love and appreciation of nature her entire life and aims to help people live a more natural and sustainable lifestyle. Level – Beginner: No experience needed.
