One Week Mini-Musical Summer Camp Session Two Ages 6-10 Register for Session Two! Mini-Musical Camps at Manship Theatre 2025 Mini-Musical Summer Camp Join us for a fun summer camp filled with theatre, art, performance, and friends! The Mini-Musical 101 Dalmatians Kids is for ages 6-10. Your child must be age six by April 15, 2026. Session Two is from June 15-June 19, each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The final performance at Manship Theatre is Saturday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited. Two sessions, same camp In a response to the popularity of this camp, we are offering two sessions of the same one-week camp. Each session will offer the same musical theatre camp experience, both performing Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids. Registration process: Jan. 29 for members; Feb. 12 for public Registration opens to Manship Theatre Family level & above Members only on January 29 at 10:00 a.m. Login to your Manship Theatre account to register. Registration opens to the public on February 12 at 10:00 a.m. These camps usually sell out, so we suggest registering the day they go on sale. The one-week mini-musical costs $375. There are no registration or supply fees. No refunds will be offered after April 1, 2026. Tickets for the performances will be on sale at a later date. Tickets are $10 each, including fees. The process, not the product Our Mini-Musical Production Camps are about the process, not the product. This is perfect for kids who have an interest in experiencing the magic of musical theatre, regardless of experience. The camp is led by a team of professionals in their field, including support from Manship Theatre’s professional production and education teams. Leading the charge for both 101 Dalmatians productions is Director Dana Lux, who heads up the middle and high school visual and performing arts program at LSU Labratory School. What to expect This is not a babysitting camp — campers should come ready to rehearse and participate! Students will enjoy learning and practicing lines, songs, choreography, along with engaging theatre games and exercises. We will have auditions to assign specific roles prior to the start of camp (Date TBA!) and campers are encouraged to be “off-book” (aka have their lines memorized) before camp starts. By enrolling in this camp, families are committing to full-day attendance each day. Our one-week rehearsal period is short, and every day is essential to the success of the production. Absences disrupt rehearsals and make it difficult for staff and campers to stay on track. Putting on a show is a true team effort, and progress depends on everyone being present!
