Join us for Poetry Open Mic with featured reader Megan Kruse. Read your poetry, short prose, or fiction. Suggested 5-minute time limit. Limited reading slots available; arrive early to sign up. Poetry Open Mic is held on the last Saturday of every month. Free · Ages 18+ Megan Kruse is the author of Call Me Home (Hawthorne Books, 2015) and the Co-Director of the low-residency MFA program at Eastern Oregon University. Her work has appeared widely in journals and anthologies, and she has received recent residency support from the Mineral School, Wildacres Retreat, and PLAYA. She was one of the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 for 2015 and the recipient of a 2016 Pacific Northwest Book Award. She currently lives in Olympia, where she is at work on Small Maps, a novel about oysters and grief.
