This is an opportunity to learn more about Central Texas ecology, build restoration skills and leave a lasting impact on Barton Creek! You’ll leave this five week course with the knowledge and ability to continue this work with APF and help facilitate future volunteer events. Volunteer will learn to manage: Invasive Species Removal Trail Construction Erosion Concerns Native Seed Collection/Planting Volunteers will utilize Nature Steward as an educational guide and resource for this course. What to Bring Plenty of drinking water and fluids to stay hydrated throughout the day. Electrolyte beverages and snacks encouraged! Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate gear for wooded natural areas and uneven terrain. Wear sturdy, closed-toed shoes.
