Getting in and out of a car, reaching for a top shelf, turning to check your blind spot -- all these things depend on mobility most people never think about until it's gone. This engaging, hands-on session with physical therapist Ariel Painter covers what's really happening in your joints as you age, includes a self-assessment of your own flexibility, and sends you home with a short daily routine to keep you moving freely. Co-sponsored by The Reserve at Falls Church and Bayada Home Health Care. To register for this program, please scroll down and click on the blue "Register" box. About the Presenter Ariel Painter, PT, DPT, is Program Manager for BAYADA Home Health Care and a physical therapist dedicated to helping older adults stay active, independent, and confident as they age. With a background in home health, neurological rehabilitation, and senior wellness, Ariel enjoys partnering with older adults and their families to improve mobility, reduce fall risk, and support healthy aging. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Florida and her bachelor's degree in Spanish from Florida State University.
