Abbegael Greene

Mezzo-soprano Abbegael Greene has already built an illustrious career, with her voice described as having “emotional intimacy through her velvet voice” (The Millbrook Independent). Her stage credits include Marthe Schwerlein in Faust with Berkshire Opera Festival and title role in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe with The Orchestra Now. Greene is joined by pianist Nomin Samdan, who hails from Mongolia and has an expansive career as soloist, collaborator, and educator. Together they present a vocal‑piano recital inspired by Gustav Mahler’s Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen, exploring themes of wayfaring, belonging, and human connection in times of transience.
