Farm Games & Crafts: Big Donkey Ears

Get moving, get creative, and learn about farm animals through hands-on fun! Farm Games & Crafts invites children ages 2-7 to explore a different farm-themed topic each session through games, simple crafts, and interactive activities. Designed for young animal lovers, this program encourages creativity, observation, and learning through play. Programs take place at Old Maryland Farm at Watkins Regional Park. Each session features a new theme, making every visit a unique farm adventure. Fall 2026 Programs: – September 10 • Horse Face Markings: Learn how to identify the unique markings that make each horse special, from stars and stripes to blazes and snips. – November 12 • Big Donkey Ears: Discover why donkeys have such impressive ears and how these gentle animals use them to navigate the world around them.
