From Boxes to Beauty: Transforming the Discarded into Dimensional Portraiture with Sylvia Doughlin

Artist Sylvia Doughlin creates emotionally expressive, three-dimensional sculptural portraits that capture the individuality and spirit of each imagined subject. Eschewing traditional drawing and painting, she constructs every face entirely from discarded paper materials, transforming the overlooked into richly detailed works of art.
