For the final installment of Concord Historic Site’s Summer Concert Series, in partnership with the Go-Go Museum & Café, we’re turning up the volume in honor of go-go music: its pioneers, its cultural power, and its enduring heartbeat in the region. As the defining sound of the DMV, go-go continues to claim its well-deserved political and historical recognition, marked by the founding of the Go-Go Museum & Café and the official designation of August 22 as “Chuck Brown Day” in Washington, D.C. Join us for an electrifying evening of rhythm, community, and celebration featuring high-energy performances by New Impressions and Next Generation Krank! Come gather, dance, and pay tribute to the sound that keeps the DMV go-going. Gather on the Green is a free summer concert series at Concord Historic Site that takes place the third Thursday of each month.
