Nature Community Day Series

Celebrate Earth Day all April with M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County! Join us at one of our nature sites to celebrate and connect with the people, places, and natural resources that make Prince George’s County special. Community Days are every Saturday in April from 11 am–2 pm. Community Day Schedule APRIL 4, 11 am – 2 pm Bladensburg Waterfront Park (Bladensburg) andClearwater Nature Center (Clinton) APRIL 11, 11 am – 2 pm Mount Rainier Nature Center (Mount Rainier) APRIL 18, 11 am – 2 pm Old Maryland Farmand Watkins Nature Center at Watkins Regional Park (Upper Marlboro) APRIL 25, 11 am-2 pm Patuxent River Park (Upper Marlboro) FREE activities MAY include: Guided nature hikes Free bike, kayak, & canoe rentals Arts & craft activities Pontoon boat tours Animal ambassador meet-and-greets DIY workshops and resources Garden crawls FREE professional family portraits Giveaways (while supplies last) and more!
