Amelia Island Open (AIO), the largest international petanque event in the Americas welcomes world champions, players and spectators from around the world to this charming Florida island. Play takes place at the downtown harbor front and historic district that welcomes all with shops, restaurants and a true feeling of joie de vivre. Friday Amelia Island Boules Club hosts the Amelia Open Women’s Tournament from 1pm-6pm. Saturday and Sunday AIO games take place from 9am-5pm.
