Wes Anderson’s Bottle Rocket follows best friends Anthony Adams and Dignan, two aimless young men who dream of becoming successful criminals. After Anthony leaves a voluntary stay at a mental health facility, Dignan convinces him to join a small-time robbery crew led by the dubious Mr. Henry. Their poorly executed heists and Anthony’s budding romance with a motel housekeeper complicate their plans. The film is a quirky, low-key comedy about friendship, ambition, and delusional optimism.
