Summer Screening Series: She’s Gotta Have It

Spike Lee’s She’s Gotta Have It follows Nola Darling, a young Brooklyn woman navigating relationships with three very different men at the same time. Confident and independent, Nola resists society’s expectations about monogamy and female sexuality. As her suitors grow increasingly possessive, tensions rise and force Nola to confront what she truly wants. The film is a groundbreaking romantic comedy drama that explores gender politics, autonomy, and modern love.
