We Mean Something to Each Other: Life in Memorial Homes On View: July 11–29 Reception: Saturday, July 11, 1–4 p.m. Mason Gross Galleries, 33 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, N.J. Join us for a public exhibition celebrating the history and legacy of Memorial Homes, a public housing development in New Brunswick that was the heart of a vibrant community. Taking place nearly 25 years since Memorial Homes’ demolition, this exhibition, developed in dialogue with former residents, is the culmination of two linked courses in Spring 2026 at Mason Gross School of the Arts and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy at Rutgers. It features research by planning students, original artworks by graduate art students, artifacts and oral histories from community members, and photographs by Mason Gross Alumni Ben Gest and Phil Buehler.
