Introduction to the Preserve and Conservancy

Introduction to the McDowell Preserve and Conservancy at Brown’s Ranch Trailhead. This hike will be targeted to visitors, those fairly new to the Preserve or those who want to expand their knowledge of the Preserve and Conservancy. The hike will be about 7 miles, taking about 3 hours, and cover a variety of trails and topics to highlight various aspects of the Preserve and Conservancy, and point out key points of each trailhead. The hike is labelled as Difficult due to the mileage, but the pace will be moderate with frequent stops for discussions/educational talks. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead. Bring water and snacks for the trail. No dogs please. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of hike. Space is limited! Please save your spot with the RSVP below.
