My BERNINA L850/460/450 Serger Class Supply List If you are a new serger owner, I highly recommend that you choose 4 different colors for the 4 cones of thread on the supply list. These 4 different thread colors could even be Isacord so they could be used in the future for embroidery/decorative stitching if desired. Ideally these should be blue, red, green, and yellow. As you are learning your machine these colors will help you identify the various stitches, and which parts may need to be adjusted to obtain that perfect stitch. If you are an experienced serger owner, feel free to bring 4 cones in the same color. The cone of Maxi Lock Stretch thread can match any of your spools. Pick a color you will be likely to use in the future. The workbook is available for free download on the www.Bernina.com website. Select the “Learn & Create” heading, then “Mastery Workbooks” and finally select “Overlocker.” https://www.bernina.com/en-US/Learn-Create-US/Mastery-Workbooks/Overlocker/L-450-L-460-and-L-850-Overlockers The workbook may be printed or used via a laptop computer or tablet if you prefer.
