Join the waitlist September 17–November 19, 2026 10 weeks, Thursdays Taught by: Jason Ferguson This course introduces new students to the basics of the potter’s wheel—how to wedge clay, center, throw cylinders, trim, and glaze. Continuing students will build skills by learning how to create bowls and plates. Your teacher will demonstrate and provide hands-on help when needed. Students benefit from repeating this course. Please bring an old kitchen-size towel you don’t mind getting dirty. Materials NEW: Clay will be provided for students. Glazes and firing are also included in the class price. Please bring an old kitchen towel you don’t mind getting dirty and wear closed-toe shoes. Registration Information Registration for this program starts on Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Tuesday, August 25, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Tuesday, September 15, at 6:00 pm. Programs with inadequate enrollment are canceled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
