Creativity in Color and Composition (35F26)

Join the waitlist September 16–November 18, 2026 10 weeks, Wednesdays Taught by: David B Gardner In each class session, I will present you with an idea that focuses on an aspect of color and/or composition. That idea will challenge you to create a drawing and painting that you feel addresses its theme. I will give an hour or so to explore the week’s theme, and then we’ll get together to look at our work and discuss it as a group. After the group exercise, you will then have time to work on a subject of your choosing. I will be there to offer additional guidance and answer questions. Materials Students need to purchase materials for this class. See the materials lists for further information. Registration Information Registration for this program starts on Tuesday, August 18, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Tuesday, August 25, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Monday, September 14, at 9:30 am. Programs with inadequate enrollment are canceled one week before the first meeting. We will attempt to contact you via email to find an alternative program or to refund your registration fee.
