About this event
Join the waitlist July 9–30, 2026 4 weeks, Thursdays Taught by: Dejan Pejovich Sketchbook drawing is largely about capturing a setting and a fleeting moment rather than a faithful recording. It is a way of keeping a travel diary that disappeared with the advent of the camera. Rather than taking a snapshot, sketchbook drawing is an exercise in looking intensely. We will meet weekly in a public location in the Rochester area, capturing the essence of that unique moment in time. Our drawing practice will focus on location, perspective, ambiance, travel portraiture, gesture, and fleeting impressions. Materials Students need to purchase materials for this class. See the materials lists for further information. Registration Information Registration for this program starts on Monday, June 15, at 10:00 am for MAG Members, and Monday, June 22, at 10:00 am for Not-Yet-Members. Online registration ends on Tuesday, July 7, at 6:30 pm. Programs with inadequate enrollment are canceled one week… View Source
