Winthrop Rink Opening Weekend

Winthrop Rink, Winthrop Rink, 206 White Ave, Winthrop, WA 98862, USA The Winthrop Rink opens for the 2026–27 season the weekend of November 13. The rink spent the fall installing a brand-new ice refrigeration plant, a major investment in the future of outdoor skating in the valley. The extra construction time pushed opening back a couple of weeks, and as the rink puts it, great ice is worth the wait. The Winthrop Rink is an NHL-sized outdoor rink under the North Cascades, with some of the best ice in the Pacific Northwest. Season passes and 10-punch packages are available, and the 10-punch is good for two seasons. Details at winthroprink.org.
