About this event

Community Arts & Culture

“the art gallery @ NCC” presents Greenville’s own Laurie Buck with her collection “The Light Breaks Through”: an exhibition benefitting the Neighborhood Cancer Connection (NCC), a Greenville-based nonprofit providing free practical, emotional, and educational support to individuals and families facing cancer. When you purchase a piece from this collection, a portion of the proceeds will be donated directly to NCC, allowing you to collect original artwork while supporting meaningful work in our community. “My work often examines light: how it returns fresh each morning, a symbol of hope and possibility, and moves through the world with quiet persistence. In this body of work, light is both subject and structure, expressed through floral and purely abstract compositions. I’m always drawn to the idea that beauty can emerge even in chaos and difficulty both in art and in life. Sharing this exhibition at the Neighborhood Cancer Connection feels especially meaningful, as their work reflects this same belief that light, beauty, and compassion can break through bringing hope even in the most difficult seasons.” – Laurie Buck, 2026 https://artgalleryatncc.my.canva.site/ Https://www.NCCgreenville.org https://lauriebuckstudio.com/cancerbenefitcollection
