Abstract Citizen

Under the wide umbrella of modern jazz and a fresh global sound, Miami ensemble Abstract Citizen composes, arranges, and pushes their music to sound organic, honest, and fresh. Aaron Lebos, an accomplished guitarist/composer (touring with Jazz vocalist Nicole Henry and composing for Nu Deco Ensemble amongst others), looked to the next generation of Miami’s musicians to satisfy his musical curiosity. He formed the group with three young envelope-pushers: bassist Marty Quinn, vocalists Vania Junco and drummer Lucas Apostoleris. Opening set from Black Nimbus, a dynamic Black fusion band that bridges the gap between live instrumentation and studio production. They don’t just host parties, they engineer immersive, high intensity experiences that redefine the dance floor. Plus, enjoy on-site activations from Nom Nom & Co Japanese Snacks, Energy in Poetry, Raw Figs Figure Drawing, and snap a few pics at the Photo Tent Center.
