Miami Sound Space

An evening of communal singing, with a special program by Miami Sound Choir. Choir master Laurah Mersier invites us to break down barriers, build bridges, and spread joy and unity through music. Miami Sound Space is a community choir collective of, for, and by Miami. The group has as its mission to combat community deterioration through community singing opportunities, and offers four core programs: Miami Sound Choir (a radically inclusive adult community choir), The Bluebirds (a men’s choir for incarcerated singers), Threshold Singers (who provide bedside singing to those nearing life’s end), and Lullaby & Life (a parent and baby choir). The North Beach Social, Third Thursdays, is a free monthly meet up for music lovers at the Bandshell, presented by Rhythm Foundation with support from the City of Miami Beach.
