Events Waves & Witches Paddle Register Now Description: Grab your boat, your broom (AKA paddle) and a costume for this witchy afternoon paddle through downtown Milwaukee. Launch at a public dock and meet up with the coven on the river in front of Milwaukee Kayak Company by 12:30pm or along the route anytime. Enjoy a floating concert brought to you by Professor Pinkerton & the Irrelevant Orchestra, aboard the Funktoon and a rest stop at Lakefront Brewery. Don’t have your own watercraft? Kayak, paddle board, and canoe rentals are also available from Milwaukee Kayak Company. Register: Bringing My Own Boat Renting a Boat from Mke Kayak Co Event Details Date: October 17th, 2026 Time: 12:30 PM – 4PM Price: Bringing your own Boat? $20 (pay as you can) Need a Rental? $45 – $85 Physical Demand: Moderate What to Expect: 12:00 PM – Arrive at Launch Point or Mke Kayak Co.’s Main Dock 12:30 PM – Meet the coven in front of MKE Kayak Co., or find us along the way! Enjoy the spooky vaudeville stylings of Professor Pinkerton as we follow the Funktoon down the Milwaukee River. 1:30 PM – Rest stop at Lakefront Brewery 2:30 PM – Depart Lakefront 3:30 PM – Return to Milwaukee Kayak Company main dock (or your own takeout) You Should Bring: Witches Hat or Spooky Costume Decor for your watercraft (if desired) A water bottle or beverage Cash for a pint or Cheese Curds at Lakefront Brewery An extra layer and weather appropriate gear Sunglasses / Sunscreen Questions?
