From publicly posted calendar Checked 14 hours ago
About this event
One of 183 upcoming events at Mission Trails Regional Park, and 5,148 across San Diego.
Stop by the Discovery Table in the lobby of the Visitor Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and learn about bird beaks from MTRP Trail Guides. You can tell what birds eat by the shape of their beaks. See if you can match different types of beaks to the correct birds! Discovery tables are set up on the second Saturday of every month and some holidays at the Visitor Center and on selected Saturdays during the summer at Kumeyaay Lake Campground. Tables feature hands-on activities and take-home materials for kids and adults. Topics vary month-to-month. Upcoming Topics: * February 16 – MTRP Lizards * March 14 – MTRP Rocks * March 31 – Bird Nests
