Guided Bird Walk - Kumeyaay Lake

Join MTRP bird walk leaders for a guided bird walk along the shore of Kumeyaay Lake. The fall months may yield some migratory warblers, sparrows, and waterfowl. Kumeyaay Lake often surprises us if we take the time to stop, look, and listen. Meet in the Kumeyaay Lake Campground day use parking lot. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining and during NWS extreme heat warnings. Upcoming Bird Walks: * October 17 – Kumeyaay Lake. Meet in the Kumeyaay Lake Campground day use parking lot. * November 20 – Oak Grove Loop. Meet in front of the Visitor Center. * November 21 – Oak Grove Loop. Meet in front of the Visitor Center.
