Guided Bird Walk - Lake Murray, Northwest Side

Join MTRP bird walk leaders for a guided bird walk along the scenic shore of Lake Murray. In winter, Lake Murray reliably provides an abundance of waterfowl as well as land birds. This bird walk is designed for beginning or newer birdwatchers, but all skill levels are welcome to attend. Meet on the northwest side of the lake. After entering at Murray Park Drive and Belle Glade Avenue, proceed along the driveway past a set of ballfields on your right and turn into the paved parking lot on your right. Bring binoculars if you have them. Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring along water. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended. Walks are canceled if raining and during NWS extreme heat warnings.
