About this event
One of 21 upcoming events at Mobius Discovery Center, and 175 across Spokane.
Financial literacy starts young! This interactive class is designed to help students build a strong foundation of money knowledge and develop healthy financial habits that can last a lifetime. Homeschool students will enjoy reading The Berenstain Bears Visit the Credit Union while learning how credit unions and other financial institutions help people save, spend, and manage their money. They’ll discover who works at a financial institution, what happens during a visit, and how different coins and bills add up. In addition to the story, students will participate in a group discussion and hands-on activity that explores the importance of saving money. Together, we’ll learn why saving is a valuable habit, how it can help us reach future goals, and the role it plays in making smart decisions. Suggested Ages: 5 years and up Class Fee: $16 per student – Daily admission is not included in class fee. Daily admission is required for student and parent/caregiver to attend a class at Mobius.
