Friday Tasting: Guest Vintner Vivianne Kennedy of RAM Cellars

Join us for a tasting of at least four different styles from Viv, whose wines are made right here in Portland! The launch of RAM Cellars in 2014 was the culmination of years of studies and work by winemaker Vivianne Kennedy. An interest in wine turned into a love of wine, which turned into an intense curiosity about everything that goes into the production of premium wines. RAM Cellars is named after her late grandfather, a big supporter of her dream, and whose initials were R.A.M. The goal is to make small batch lots of wines that are reflective of both the season they were grown and the varietal characteristics of the grapes they contain. This is done through native yeast ferments on all wines, zero fining or filtration, minimal sulfite levels, and meticulous treatment of the wines throughout their lifecycle in the cellar. Currently we are hosting wine tastings every two weeks. The tastings are seasonally relevant, drop-in style, showcasing four selections, with printed descriptions. Join us to taste and learn! It’s a great way to kick off the weekend. $10 We do not currently serve wines by the glass. Tastings are drop-in style, standing room only No pets permitted during wine tastings.
