Secrets of VERY Dead Plants Thursday November 19, 7:00 pm Montana has a rich fossil record of plants. Since the 1970s, a site known as the Beaver Creek Locality near Lincoln has produced a diverse assemblage of foliage, flowers and fruits. These fossils represent a snapshot of life that lived almost 40 million years ago.
