About this event
One of 26 upcoming events at Montclair History Center.
A Victorian brooch with tiny turquoise stones. A brass button with a mysterious railroad insignia. An 1840 copper token from a faraway land. Join us as long-time Montclair resident Suzanne Moyers discusses these and other artifacts unearthed in Montclair, along with the surprising stories they tell about our town’s hidden history. Suzanne Moyers, a former teacher and education writer, is completing her second historical novel, a tale of science and passion set on Victorian-era Long Island. When she’s not metal-detecting, Suzanne enjoys volunteering for archeological digs, singing in a rock choir, and traveling. This is a free program held on zoom, register for the zoom link here.
