Family Friendly Arts & Culture

Overview Cost: Free* Age Range: 2 to 5 year olds with their caregivers This Mini Makers session invites little learners to discover how artworks can tell stories. Focusing on sequencing and imagination, children will explore narrative artworks in the Museum’s galleries and talk about what might be happening first, next, and last. The session will also include a shared storytime, helping children connect words and pictures to visual storytelling. Registration is Open! Due to the age range of participants, pre-registration is required. To register, please email Kaylee Hobbs at kahobbs@mmfa.org or call her office line at 334-625-4349. Cost This class falls under the MMFA’s Access for All grant, providing free classes to all. Note: a registration fee may be required to hold your spot, but it will be refunded once you attend the class. Click here to learn more about Access for All and the MMFA’s registration policy.
