Lunch & Learn: Lasting Impressions with Miss Melanie 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, August. 28 OR Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at the MACC $15 In this cozy workshop, you’ll create a beautiful air dry clay trinket bowl using homemade clay dough and everyday objects to leave lasting impressions. Press botanicals, lace, vintage treasures, or other found materials into the clay to create one-of-a-kind patterns that reflect your own story, your hometown, or the people and places that have left an impression on you. No experience is necessary just come ready to slow down, create, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making something from scratch. Along the way, you’ll learn techniques for mixing, rolling, shaping, and decorating homemade air-dry clay, then leave with a finished keepsake that’s both beautiful and functional. Best of all, you’ll take home recipes for three easy homemade clay doughs so you can continue creating meaningful gifts, keepsakes, and lasting impressions long after the workshop ends. Please feel free to bring any items from home.
