If you’ve: never picked up needles before watched a youtube video and were just plain frustrated tried a long time ago and say your project ‘was bad,’ ‘didn’t turn out right,’ or ‘I can’t knit’ AND you are curious open-minded willing to try new things will follow suggestions AND are willing give yourself the grace to be less than perfect while you learn something new This class is for you! We’re going to make what I call a Padawan Square: a small section of a much bigger project. In this class, you’ll learn to: cast on knit purl yarn over bind off Wanna know a little secret other instructors won’t tell you? If you know these 5 things, you can knit ANYTHING. That’s right, ANYTHING. Everything in knitting is just a variation on these 5 skills. Increase? Knit a stitch or a part of your knitting again. Decrease? Knit or purl stitches together. Ribbing? Alternate knits and purls. Cables? Knit the stitches out of order. Lace? Yarn overs and knit two together. Once you have these tools in your toolbox, and you practice them (by knitting other projects!) there’s no knitting project you can’t handle.
