About this event
Workshop participants will receive step-by-step instruction in Motawi's signature bulb-glazing process. We'll provide two bisque (unglazed) tiles, bulbs filled with our rich glaze colors, and a suggested glazing guide. Follow our recommendations or unleash your creativity and create your own unique colorways! During the Saturday, January 16 workshop, participants will glaze one 6x6 Ovation tile in their choice of two exclusive workshop colorways. Easels are an elegant option for art tile display. Fabricated from powder-coated steel, our easels are locally made and feature durable single-piece construction. Our quarter-sawn oak frames, handmade by Dard Hunter Studios, are available with a natural Oak or Ebony finish. They can hang horizontally or vertically, or perch on our large easels. Frame features include mitered corners and stapled joints. Handcrafted in Ann Arbor since 1992 A meaningful gift that's made to last Yes.
