One of 12 upcoming events at Mother Muffs, and 742 across Colorado Springs.
About the Band: Richard Hilbert (RIP) a bass playin Colorado Cowboy and all around good man, invited a few friends over one day. As Rich asked them to sit, he pointed out there was plenty of room on the "Davenport." And so was born "The Davenport Band." Jim Rose-Vocal/Guitar/Banjo and John Byers-Vocal/Guitar/Mandolin having worked with Rich soon rekindled past member Amy "Keys" Binkowski-Piano and Kevin Waybright-Bass) of Gyzunglasus. With old friends (Tracy Mayhew-Lead Guitar and Dale Maxwell-Vocal/Guitar/Harmonica) to form "TDB" The Davenport Band. "Steel is strong because of white heat and the hammer." -June Carter Cash- https://www.reverbnation.com/thedavenportband
